San Francisco Redwood City: about as rural as Coruscant

San Francisco is hot! This part of it has some seriously large houses. I ran https://www.strava.com/activities/9381378172 earlier this morning, before it got too roasting. I took a few photos of the locale’s bog-standard mansions. Check these photos out. But there’s one huge omission! No pavements. Runners and pedestrians must hug the road verge and every vehicle must veer madly around them. I did some asking around: apparently it’s because the local residents wish to preserve the suburb’s apparent rural atmosphere. Ha. This place is about as rural as Coruscant.
