My apartment is hot, but it’s smoky outside. How can I cool off my apartment without letting smoke in?

My answer

Isn’t it obvious? All you need to do is generate a massive positive pressure differential from inside to outside, and evaporate liquid into water and produce a lovely cooling effect. Easy: just freeze a vast amount of oxygen gas into oxygen ice ahead of time, then build an igloo out of it and live inside that. Let it evaporate as normal: loads of superfreezing air to chill those summer scorchers; loads of delightful oxygenated air to fuel yourself, smoke banished. Just don’t produce even the tiniest spark or you’ll blow your fucking head off like Apollo 1.
