Holy cow, man! This explains so much! I'm straight. And uncircumcised. And not American. So much of popular American culture involving jerking off also involves mentions of lube. So much lube, so much talk of lube. And I could never figure out why. Lube is cool and all, but it's not that essential, is it? Is it?
It had never occurred to me to link lube with circumcision and foreskin absence. Geez. Yeah. That explains things. You'd be surprised how many circumcised penises I'd refrained from handjobbing: being straight and male, I'd not had much cause to observe, close-up, how much the lack of a foreskin would necessitate lube. I've never used lube whilst wanking in my life, never needed it.
But yeah. That's exactly what a foreskin is for. It's stretchy and supple and aids the thrusting of a penis in a vagina. When we uncut blokes wank, we don't actually physically scrape the heads of our penises with our hands and fingers, there's a layer of foreskin in the way. Ask your man to show you.
Argh. If I lacked a foreskin, I'd use lube every time too. I'd have to!
